We’ve been waiting to share this special place with you

The land has been in our family since 2012 and we never expected to own a wedding venue, but as time went on, we felt the views and the property were just too special not to share it with others. And so Agape Acres was born.

Agape Acres is run by our little family, which makes us a bit special. The barn started out as a neglected storage building before we purchased the property. After moving in, we immediately converted the barn into a wood-working shop (one of our many hobbies), where we spent the first six years (actually 6 ½ years, but who’s counting) building a boat in what is now the bar and lounge area. Our son Connor was only 5 years old when we started the build and was the second person to drive the boat when we launched it!

The venue is extraordinary in and of itself, but how we run it makes it that much more personal for our couples. We are able to instill our family values in the day to day of running the business. We know how special each couples’ wedding day is and it’s our goal to serve them as if they’re part of our family.
